Mahalo to Robin Jumper for all the help with the Kaua‘i Marathon which unfolded Sunday! Robin couldn’t run because she had to babysit all us media types (lots of bloggers like Joseph Sylvester of Turtle Cove Suites). Joseph was trying out his new birthday present — a Nikon 5100 (go Costco!) during the expo.
Doug Sears has a lot of experience with this marathon thing, but was busy working at the Grand Hyatt Kaua‘i Resort and Spa where Randall Francisco was spearheading the Kaua‘i Chamber of Commerce Third Quarter Meeting, Thursday, and returned Friday for the Kaua‘i Economic Development Board Aloha ‘Ike fundraiser, Friday.
And between all of that, it was KIF volleyball (Bill Arakaki was looking forward to Saturday night football and Danny Hamada was trying to figure out how to scout that game).
OK, now that the hectic weekend is past, it’s time to go visit Laurel Loo (Marlena Bunao might be there, too) and go have some Lihu‘e United Church Labor Day breakfast.
