Isabella Roberts (her mom Denise is busy working on the talent and healthy babies for the farm fair) was at practice, Tuesday to watch her brother Luke get ready for the Mokihana Aquatics Fun Meet which starts this morning at 9:30 a.m.
She had the fancy pink shoes with all the sparklies. Coach Orlando Anaya said they just got through re-doing all the lane markers in the colors of Kaua‘i High School.
Congratulations to Jazzilyn Pasion-Saflor who ended up being named “The Ultimate Cashier!” at the national Kmart competition on the Mainland.
Congratulations to Greg Meyers and his ‘ohana as well (we know why he wasn’t at the Gourmet Market, Wednesday at The Shops at Kukui‘ula).
Melissa McFerrin is doing a pretty good job of juggling the community markets and the upcoming Kaua‘i County Farm Bureau Fair, dealing with phone calls from vendors while making sure the markets run smoothly.
OK, time to go check out Lenore Klass and her Kaua‘i FCE people for stuff that’s coming up at the fair.
