Police remove woman from overturned vehicle

KAPA‘A — Police removed a woman from her overturned vehicle early this morning in Kapa‘a.

The two-car traffic collision was reported at about 1:45 a.m. on Kawaihau Road, a county news release states.

Police arrived at the scene to find a woman trapped in her overturned vehicle on the nourthbound lane. The driver was removed from her vehicle and transported to Wilcox Memorial Hospital for medical treatment.

No injuries were reported to the driver of the other vehicle.

The cause of the collision is unknown at this time.
