The No. 11 hole at the Lawa‘i Beach Resort mini golf course was a popular stopping point as youngsters watch their ball drop in the water hazard, Sunday, during the Mini Golf Tournament for youngsters 13 and under. More than 40 young golfers were broken into 0-4, 5-9 and 10-13 age groups with all receiving special goodie bags of school supplies and a Pizza Hut lunch hosted by the Lawa‘i Beach Resort. The event is part of the weeklong Koloa Plantation Days celebration which climaxes with the parade and ho‘olaule‘a, Saturday.
