The Robert Trent Jones Jr.-designed golf course is launching its 20th aniversary with the “Kaua‘i Resident Appreciation Rate” of $55 for a round of golf. This rate will be in effect through the end of September.
To qualify for this special rate, players must show a valid Hawai‘i State ID card, or a driver’s license with a Kaua‘i address.
The Po‘ipu Bay Golf Course opened in April, 1991 and will be celebrating its anniversary through the coming year.
Situated adjacent to the Grand Hyatt Kaua‘i Resort and Spa, the Po‘ipu Bay Golf Course gained international recognition as home to the PGA Grand Slam of golf from 1994 to 2006.
The course, recently celebrating the completion of its renovation, has been consistently ranked among the top courses in the United States and was recently named to Golf Digest’s 2011/2012 list of “Hawai‘i’s Top Golf Course” and Golfweek’s 2011 “America’s Top 100 Resort Courses.”
