District champions - The Garden Island

The Kawaihau Community Little League Minors All Stars celebrate the District 1 championship on O‘ahu over the weekend. The Minors All Stars entered the tournament as reigning champions, and following its defense of the title, will advance to the Little League State Tournament. Members include Elvis Park, Nainoa Cardinez, Raven Cummings, Cade Halemanu, Kaenen Lacaden, Leo Swartman, Chayse Basuel, Isaac Nagahisa, Braden Watanabe, Levi Cummings, Kalena Harder, Jai Alapai, Kystin Alfiler and Brend Terada. Coaches are Mike Cardinez, Marvin Terada and Dustin Alfiler.
