Marycel Garcia finished with a game-high 18 points to lead the TUNDAZ effort, Belinda Butac adding 14 points in the first of three 18 and Over games hosted by the Kaua‘i Youth Basketball Association and the County of Kaua‘i.
Olin Claussen finished with a sizzling 33 points and Tab Matsumoto scored 27 to lead the H1 and 1 to a 95-48 win over GEK, who got a dozen marks from Calsen Agrade and nine points from Hans Reeves in the first of two Men 18 and Over games.
Bryan Andres and Kekoa Prem each notched 15 points to lead Manny’s Sports to a 73-45 victory over Westside Pride in the nightcap. Spam Lindsey and Mike Lindsey added 12 and 10 points, respectively, for Manny’s.
Noah Foote topped the Westside effort with 11 points, followed by Gayrald Matias and Ronald Villanueva each netting 10 points.
Following four games starting at 5 p.m. at the Kalaheo Neighborhood Center, the KYBA hosts five games Tuesday — two Girls 12 Under matchups at the Kalaheo Neighborhood Center and three games at the Kilauea Neighborhood Center. All games start at 6 p.m.
These will be the last games until Saturday due to KYBA hosting a Boys 17 and Under tournament.
