LIHU‘E — Kalepa Street will be closed due to road work starting next Monday, and will continue for approximately four weeks.
Work will begin on the mauka end of Kalepa Street and will consist of grading, paving and installation of new stop lights. During work dates, traffic will remain open on Kaumuali‘i Highway, but turns into Kalepa Street will not be allowed.
Motorists and pedestrians are advised to use alternate routes, allow extra time through the work area and observe all traffic controls.
Construction zone speed limits will remain at 25 mph.
