KOLOA — Police closed the westbound lane of Kaumuali‘i Highway near the 8-mile marker for an hour Thursday afternoon following a three-vehicle collision.
According to police, a blue Toyota sedan headed west on the highway at about 1:55 p.m., when it crossed the center line and sideswiped an oncoming gray Dodge pickup truck, then struck a white Chrysler convertible parked on Maha Road.
The 84-year-old driver of the Toyota sustained minor injuries to his left arm, a county press release said. No other injuries were reported.
A witness said the Toyota also hit a guardrail.
