Haruko Seto of Waimea died on May 16, 2011, at Kaua‘i Care Center at age 99. Born in Waimea on April 16, 1912, she was a retired cook at Kaua‘i Veterans Memorial Hospital.
She is survived by her sons, Edward (Lorraine) Seto and Gary (Molly) Seto, both of Pearl City, O‘ahu, and Lynn (Jane) Seto of Waimea; daughter, Mae Kinoshita (Woodrow) of Pearl City, O‘ahu; 10 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
Services were private. Family requests no Koden.
Arrangements are being handled by Garden Island Mortuary.
