KOLOA — A 42-year-old Filipino woman was reportedly shot in the thigh with a small-caliber handgun Sunday evening at her Koloa home.
She then jumped out a window of the home, sources said, cutting herself in the process.
Medics transported her to Wilcox Memorial Hospital for treatment around 9 p.m. Her condition was unknown at press time.
Kaua‘i police responded from multiple stations to the scene of the incident, where children reportedly remained in the home with the shooter.
