LIHU‘E — If you belong to a professional group, a community service group or another organization who purchases or gathers donated school supplies to help the children of Kaua‘i, your help is being sought, a news release states.
A “Free School Supplies” distribution will take place from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., July 23, between Déjà Vu and Longs Drug Store at the Kukui Grove Center.
Partnering with Kaua‘i businesses and service groups, Kukui Grove Center is hosting a “central location” to help you distribute all those school supplies to the children and families who need them most, the release states.
If you would like to participate and let us help you distribute the school supplies your group gathers, call Mary at 346-6784. You can reserve a table to attend the event or you can arrange to drop off your donations that day so we can help you distribute them to the children and families of Kaua‘i.
