The Kaua‘i Red Raiders pulled out a 3-2 win over Waipahu in the semifinals of the Wally Yonamine Foundation HHSAA Baseball Division II State Championships, Saturday afternoon at Les Murakami Stadium on O‘ahu.
Holding a 2-0 lead, Kaua‘i saw Waipahu even things up with a pair of runs in the top of the seventh.
But catcher Austin Oshiro provided the win in the bottom half, singling to score Matt Ebueng from second base for the walk-off victory.
The No. 2 Raiders now move on to the championship game against No. 1 seed Pac-Five, which is scheduled to begin at 4 p.m. today. It will be shown live on OC 16.
