Elsie Fuse of Kapa‘a died April 23, 2011, at Wilcox Memorial Hospital at age 75. Born in Lihu‘e on July 22, 1935, she retired as a teacher.
She is survived by her brother, Masaichi Yoshioka of Kane‘ohe; sisters, Clara Ishii of Honolulu and Karen Fujimori of Kaua‘i; nieces and nephews.
Services were private. In lieu of flowers and monetary offerings, donations maybe made to Kapa‘a Jodo Mission and/or the American Cancer Society.
Arrangements are being handled by Garden Island Mortuary.
Albert Rapozo
Albert F. Rapozo of Lihu‘e died April 22, 2011, at his home at age 91. Born in Lihu‘e on July 7, 1919, he retired as a musician, entertainer and piano teacher.
He was preceded in death by wife Genevieve C. Rapozo.
He is survived by his four children, Helen Rapozo, Deborah (Dennis) Blackford, Nancy (Roy Higa) Rapozo, and Betty Rapozo; brother, Lucas (Daisy) Rapozo; five grandchildren, Brandon (Tiana) Wong, Whitney Wong, Sierra Blackford, Shawna Blackford, and Kiley Momohara; one great-grandchild, Briana Wong; numerous nieces and nephews.
Friends may visit with the family at 8 a.m., Wednesday, May 4, at Immaculate Conception Church. Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. with burial to follow at Kaua‘i Veterans Cemetery.
