According to an event website, the KLY Triathlon consists of two race distances: sprint and international.
The swim will take place in Kalapaki Bay. The bike ride is an out-and-back fronting Nawiliwili Harbor to Menehune fishpond to Kipu and back. The run takes place on Marriott/Kaua‘i Lagoons property.
The sprint division is a 750 Meter swim, 20 kilometer bike ride and a 5 kilometer run.
The international division is a 1.5 kilometer swim, 40 kilometer bike ride and 10 kilometer run.
The KLY Triathlon is a fundraiser to benefit Swim Kaua‘i Aquatics swim program based at the YMCA Ohana Pool in Lihu‘e.
