Margarita Agcaoili
Margarita R. Agcaoili of Koloa died April 8, 2011, at her home in Koloa at age 80. Born May 29, 1930, in the Philippines, she retired as a custodian for Koloa School.
She is survived by her daughter, Florence (Patrick) Travis; and son, Dean (Lisa) Agcaoili; four grandchildren; sisters, Marcelina Juan Librada Reyes and Felonila (Herminigildo) Pascua; brothers, Emilio Resurreccion, Emiliano (Seniada) Resurreccion, and Domingo Resurreccion; numerous nieces and nephews.
Friends may visit with the family at 2 p.m., Saturday, April 30, at Borthwick Mortuary Chapel in Koloa. Memorial services will be celebrated at 3 p.m.

Helen Finn
Helen Finn of Kapa‘a died April 17, 2011, at home at age 82. Born Dec. 27, 1928, in Newark, N.J., she retired as a bookkeeper.
She is survived by her husband, Joseph F. Finn Sr.; son, Joseph F. Finn Jr.; daughter, Patricia (Matthew ) Anthony; six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Private services were held.

Albert Rapozo
Albert F. Rapozo of Lihu‘e died April 22, 2011, at his home at age 91. Born July 7, 1919, in Lihu‘e, he retired as a piano teacher.
He was preceded in death by wife Genevieve C. Rapozo.
He is survived by his four children, Helen Rapozo, Deborah (Dennis) Blackford, Nancy (Roy Higa) Rapozo, and Betty Rapozo; brother, Lucas (Daisy) Rapozo; five grandchildren, Brandon (Tiana) Wong, Whitney Wong, Sierra Blackford, Shawna Blackford, and Kiley Momohara; one great-grandchild, Briana Wong; numerous nieces and nephews.
Friends may visit with the family at 8 a.m., Wednesday, May 4, at Immaculate Conception Church. Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. with burial to follow at Kaua‘i Veterans Cemetery.

Francisca Dagan Alejandro of Hanama‘ulu died April 14, 2011, at home at age 64. Born Oct. 16,1946, in Laoag City, Ilocos Norte, Philippines, she retired from Hanama‘ulu Café as a kitchen helper.
She is survived by her son, Mark (Susanta) Alejandro of Hanama‘ulu; mother, Dionicia Dagan of Hanama‘ulu; sister, Saturnina (Alejandro) Bumanglag of the Philippines; hanai mother, Maximina Pascual and family; numerous aunties, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.
A celebration of her life will be held on Saturday, April 30, at Lihu‘e Lutheran Church with visitation at 8 a.m. and services celebrated at 10 a.m. Burial will follow at Kaua‘i Memorial Gardens.

Hinako Kuboyama
Hinako M. Kuboyama of ‘Ele‘ele died April 25, 2011 at Kaua‘i Veterans Memorial Hospital at the age of 80. Born on August 22, 1930, in Makaweli, she was a retired Clerk with the County of Kaua‘i, Drivers Licensing Department.
She is survived by son Russell Kuboyama of ‘Ele‘ele; daughter Leila Kuboyama of ‘Ele‘ele; brother Shigeru (Jean) Murakami of Waimea; sister Myrtle (John) Shinagawa of Waimea; numerous nieces and nephews.
Friends may visit with the family from 3 to 4 p.m. on Sunday, May 1, at the Kaua‘i Soto Zen Temple in Hanapepe; service at 4 p.m. Casual attire is suggested and flowers omitted.

Patricia Farias
Patricia Ellis Farias of Lihu‘e died at her home on April 24, 2011, at age 68. Born March 17, 1943, in Hawai‘i, she was retired from Walmart.
She is survived by husband Frank Farias of Lihu‘e; son Jon (Nikki) Farias of Kapa‘a; daughter Della Farias of Lihu‘e; sisters Daphne Cremer of Anahola, Celeste Farias of Puhi, Alana Agustin of Hanama‘ulu, Valerie Santos of Hanama‘ulu; three grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Memorial services will be celebrated on Friday, April 29, at Lihu‘e Lutheran Church at 10 a.m.

Mineichi Saiki
Mineichi Saiki of Wailua Houselots died March 18, 2011, at Garden Isle Health Care at age 102. Born Feb. 17, 1909, in Makaweli, he retired as a custodian with the State of Hawai‘i.
He is survived by son Alvin (Kristine) Saiki of Pearl City; daughter Arlene (Frank) Harada of Hanama‘ulu; grandchildren, Shari, Jodi, Cheryl, Scott and Blanche; great-grandchildren Kelsie, Kaelyn, Mark, Nainoa, Lucca, Camryn, Myka and Maya; nieces nephews and cousins.
Services were private.

Isabel Salvador
Isabel Sampayan Salvador of Kilauea died April 14, 2011, at Wilcox Memorial Hospital at age 85. She was born Sept. 22, 1925, in Apaya, Laoag City, Philippines.
She is survived by brothers Luciano (Clarita) Salvador of ‘Ele‘ele, Presentacion Aninag of Philippines; sister Eliza (Florentino) Salvador of Kilauea; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Friends may visit with the family from 8 to 10 a.m. on Saturday, April 30, at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Kapaia. Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. followed by burial at the Lihu‘e Cemetery.

Julia Patsy Dixon of Lihu‘e died at Garden Isle Health Care on April 19, 2011, at age 80. Born June 22, 1930, in Lihu‘e, she was the proprietor of Dixon Services, Inc.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William O. Dixon; son, Leonard Pia; step-sons, Billy Dixon, John Dixon; daughter-in-law, Crystal Pia.
She is survived by her children, Val (Jay) Hirsch of Calif., Patricia “Pinky” (Cecil) Baliaris of Hanama‘ulu, Jacob Pia of Lihu‘e, Faith Vidinha of Puhi; step-children, Larry (Anne) Dixon, Garry (Ann) Dixon, Sherry (Lynn) Stell, Amy Dixon and Paul (Debra) Dixon; sisters, Mildred Perreira, Anita (Dennis) Aquino; brother, Mariano “Uncle Kahea” DeBusca Jr.; 17 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Karl Hopson
Karl James Hopson died at his home in Kapa‘a on April 11, 2011, at age 46. Born Aug. 28, 1964, in Hoag, New Port Beach, Calif., he was a jack-of-all-trades and worked all over the island for various people.
He is survived by parents James and Florence Hopson of Seattle, Wash.; brothers Kurt Hopson of Santa Clarita, Calif.; Evan (Rhonda) Hopson of Sacramento, Calif.; sister Claudia (Christopher) Stout of Santa Barbara; James Hopson of Colterville, Calif.; girlfriend Danita (DJ) Jones of Kapa‘a.
A celebration of his life will be held on Sunday, May 8, at ‘Anini Beach. Remembrance donations are suggested to be made to Strategies for Life-Kaua‘i (prevention of teen suicide) and the Salvation Army.

Julia “Judy” Kealohaokalani Orrick Abben died at Wilcox Memorial Hospital on April 16, 2011, at age 78. Born Oct. 15, 1932, in Kahuku, O‘ahu, she was a homemaker, loved by many, and owner of Hanama‘ulu Store and very active in community and political events.
She was preceded in death by parents Joe T. Orrick and Sis Orrick.
She is survived by son Jimmy Spies of Wailua Houselots; daughter Karen (John) Whalen; brother James (Margaret); sister Elizabeth (Fred) Antone of O‘ahu; two grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held from 2 to 5 p.m., Sunday, May 8, at Wailua Houselots Park pavilion.
