Mineichi Saiki of Wailua Houselots died March 18, 2011, at Garden Isle Health Care at age 102. Born Feb. 17, 1909, in Makaweli, he retired as a custodian with the State of Hawai‘i.
He is survived by son Alvin (Kristine) Saiki of Pearl City; daughter Arlene (Frank) Harada of Hanamaulu; grandchildren Shari, Jodi, Cheryl, Scott and Blanche; great-grandchildren Kelsie, Kaelyn, Mark, Nainoa, Lucas, Camryn, Myka and Maya; nieces nephews and cousins.
Services were private.
Arrangements are being handled by Garden Island Mortuary.
