The performance earned the Warrior boys the title in the Kaua‘i Interscholastic Federation track and field championships.
Kelsey Cadiente, Kawehi Louis-Diamond and Reanna Javinar put in strong showings to lead the Kaua‘i High School girls to 194 points and the championship of the KIF track and field event.
Following Kapa‘a, Kaua‘i High School boys tallied 115 points followed by Waimea (66 points) and Island School (45 points).
Kaua‘i High School girls finished 61 points ahead of Kapa‘a’s girls, who ended the night with 133 points, followed by Waimea (93 points) and Island School (43 points).
Qualifiers from all of the KIF schools will be heading to the Hawai‘i High School Athletic Association Island Movers Track and Field championships, May 6 and 7 at the War Memorial Stadium on Maui.
