Gracie Grace and Terrin Hansen are the stars, Gracie noting that she was shopping at Wal-Mart when she saw her picture on the front page.
Hats off to Myron Lindsey and his crew on a great job with the new property. Of course, Kenny Ishii was there, as was Angelo Catiggay of PIHI, who is hosting a special Easter ride.
Just down the street, Manetti DeCosta was out marketing Keoki’s Paradise, but the restaurant’s new Executive Chef, Jesse Anacleto (his neice Casey plays basketball for coach Sandi Nadatani at Kaua‘i High School), and Sous Chef Grant Carnes were busy with happy hour.
Jason Fujinaka of FM97 said during his trip to Washington, D.C., he got to visit the Newseum and was surprised to see a copy of “The Garden Island” posted in one of its big windows. He said he went twice and saw TGI twice!
OK, time to go see if Larry Feinstein (he was the Melissa McFerrin substitute last week) is going to be at the Garden Fair.
