The public is invited to volunteer at an Earth Day Beach Cleanup, April 23, starting at 9 a.m. at the Maha‘ulepu Beach.
The Surfrider Foundation, host of the event, said volunteers should bring sunscreen, hat and water. Trash bags and gloves will be provided.
Volunteers are asked to drive past the Grand Hyatt Kaua‘i Resort and Spa onto the unpaved road, turning right when the road reaches a “T.” From there, drive to the parking area and look for signs which will be placed for the cleanup.
