Calling all health and fitness professionals
Health and fitness professionals are invited to participate in a CPR Training and Mini Health Fair to be held at Kukui Grove Center’s center stage on April 23 from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
Participation is free and table reservations are available. The fair features hands-on CPR training, health and fitness promotions and community awareness displays, including community health resources.

Century 21 relocates Kapa‘a office
Century 21 announces the opening of a newly relocated office in Kapa‘a.
Situated in historic Roxy Square, the new office will offer area home buyers and sellers an increased level of service and convenience in their real estate transaction needs, a press announcement said.

Women in Business roundtable
The quarterly Women in Business roundtable networking event will be held April 28, pau hana from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Trianos buffet room, formerly Oki Diner, located at 4491 Rice St. in Lihu‘e.
Admission is $20 per person inclusive with a pupu menu and no-host bar.
County offers fair housing training
The Housing Agency is offering a free training session for housing providers on Friday.
Landlords, tenants, resident and property managers, association board members, housing agents, as well as the general public are invited to attend.
Current information on fair housing, reasonable accommodations and modifications, ADA requirements, service animals, and occupancy standard guidelines will be covered during the training session.
Featured speakers include representatives from: the Hawai‘i Civil Rights Commission, Legal Aid Society of Hawai’i and the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development.
The workshop, titled “Opening Dialogue: Opening Doors,” will be held from 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at Lihu’e Civic Center, Pi’ikoi Building. Registration will begin at 8 a.m.
Those interested in attending are required to pre-register by April 13. Space for the workshop is limited.

Apply online for Summer Internship Program
College students that are interested in participating in the Cost-Sharing Summer Internship Program can now apply online on the county’s website, www.kauai.gov.
The cost-sharing program is a partnership between the county and local businesses.
Applications are also available at the Department of Personnel Services, suite 140. The office is located at the Lihu‘e Civic Center in the Mo‘ikeha Building.
The deadline to apply is April 20.
Green Drinks celebrates green awareness month
Green Drinks Kaua’i will be held on April 20 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Hukilau Lanai. The public is invited to join event sponsors Element Media and Pacific Panel Cleaners, along with partners Po‘ipu Beach Resort Association, Zero Waste Kaua’i and the Kaua’i Chamber of Commerce for an evening of drinks and pupus in an effort to unify the island’s environmentally conscience community.

Not-for-profit management certificate program launched
For new or aspiring executive directors, board members or staff members of a small or medium not-for-profit on Kaua‘i, Kaua‘i Community College has launched a new Not-for-Profit Management Certificate Program.
It will be offered through the Office of Continuing Education between May 7 and Dec. 17.
The program includes eight modules that may be taken individually or take them all to earn the certificate.
