The Kaua‘i Motocross Riders Association announces its third race for the year, which will be held April 17 at the Wailua Motocross Track.
Racers planning to participate in this event need to pre-register on April 16 at the Wailua Motocross Track between noon and 4 p.m.
Track preparation for the April 17 event will be taking place at the same time and volunteers are welcomed to help with the prep work.
Brian Barretto of the KMRA said this event should be exciting with the future stars (keiki) showing what they can do and the more advanced riders getting into some bar-banging competition and high-flying action. Some of the fastest dirt bikes and All-Terrain Vehicles will also be tearing up the track, he said.
Leading up to the April 17 motocross, KMRA invites all dirt bike riders to come and ride the Wailua Motocross Track located just south of the Wailua Golf Course.
The track is open Saturdays, Sundays and all state and county holidays from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Practice fees will be collected at the gate.
