LIHU‘E — A pre-trial hearing will be held today in 5th Circuit Court for a man accused of shooting and killing another man in broad daylight in December.
The hearing for Vicente Kotekapika Hilario, who faces charges of first-degree murder, second-degree murder, retaliating against a witness, intimidating a witness and bribery of a witness begins at 2:30 p.m. before Judge Randal Valenciano.
The charges stem from the death of Kapa‘a resident Aureo Moore, 34, who was shot and killed in the middle of a public road near Anahola Beach Park.
Hilario’s jury trial is set for 8 a.m. April 25. He will be represented by Honolulu-based attorney Keith Shigetomi.
