LIHU‘E — The Kaua‘i Police Department is seeking the public’s help to find two Hanama‘ulu women who disappeared within a six-day period.
In the first case, Suzanne Sunshine Perry was last seen on March 17, when someone dropped her off at about 3:30 p.m. at the Lihu‘e U.S. Postal Service Office at 4441 Rice St.
The 56-year-old was expected to call her ride when she was ready to be picked up. She never did and has not made contact since, a county press release said.
Police are not disclosing the identity of her driver, or of that person’s relationship with Perry, said county spokeswoman Sarah Blane.
Perry is described as 5 feet 6 inches tall and weighs about 125 pounds. She has hazel eyes, brown hair, a light complexion and a medium build. She is considered to be of Caucasian descent, the press release said.
In the second case, Berlyn Tutop Bautista was last seen at about 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday at her home.
The 28- or 29-year-old was wearing a purple shirt and blue denim shorts. She may have flown to O‘ahu, a county press release said.
Bautista is described as 5 feet 1 inch tall and weighs about 130 pounds. She has brown eyes, black hair, a light complexion and medium build. She is of Filipino descent.
