LIHU‘E — In observance of Prince Kuhio Day, County of Kaua‘i offices will be closed today, along with the Kapa‘a and Waimea swimming pools.
All of the transfer stations, Kekaha Landfill, and Kaua’i Resource Center will observe the holiday on Saturday.
Puhi Metals Recycling Center and the HI-5 bottle redemption centers that are normally open on Fridays will be open today.
Residential refuse pick-up will also continue as scheduled.
The Kaua‘i Bus will be operating on a modified schedule on Prince Kuhio Day, as well as on all other county holidays, with the exception of Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year’s Day.
Normal business hours for county offices and services will resume on Monday.
