Aunty Stella was one of the sparkplugs behind the Hanapepe Bridge centennial (she even got Kaua‘i Mayor Bernard Carvalho Jr. a maile lei from Hanapepe Valley (Ka‘ula) for the event. But it doesn’t end here as she’ll be at the Grand Hyatt during the week for more hands-on, but not until she visits Warren Perry with her grandchildren for the protocol service, Saturday at the Prince Kuhio Park.
OK, it’s a busy weekend since Lorna Santos will be hosting the Lawa‘i Cannery garage sale, Sunday. Millie Curtis of the American Cancer Society should be there, and everyone knows Val Rynda of FM97 will be checking out to see if Stel Pimental will have the marshmallow guns which were so popular at the Waimea Town Celebration.
