Gabriel Silva of Lawa‘i died March 14, 2011, at Kaua‘i Veterans Memorial Hospital at age 91.
Born June 20, 1919, in Honolulu, he was retired with E.F Nilson Construction.
He was preceded in death by son Nick Silva; brothers Freddy, George, Harry, Johnny, Albert, Louis, Gilbert, Clarence Silva; sister Aida Licayan; daughters-in-law Ofelia Erese and Michelle Silva.
He is survived by wife Bernice Silva; sons Gabriel Silva of Fremont, Calif.; Keith (Joann) of Kekaha, Randy (Patrice) of Kalaheo, Albert (Babara) of Hilo, Clyde of Lawa‘i; grandchildren Denise, Gabriel Jr. Silva of Fremont, Calif., Tanya Silva of San Francisco, Gabriel (Leanne) Silva, Wesley Silva, Jodie (John) Silva, Jeffrey (Tessa) Silva, Vickie (Gordon) Rita, Randi-Lee (Doug) Chism, Keilah (Tim) Silva; step-children Harry Jr. Kolohe Kapu, Ashely (Dustin) Silva, Alohi (Elliot) Silva, Marah (Mathew) Silva, Julia Silva, Gabrielle Silva; great-grandchildren Steven Narves, Mathew Silva, Marcus, Samantha Colon, Keana, Blaze, Keanu, Kekai Silva, Kaimana, Kekoa, Cayce Silva, Java Aguon-Kona, Johnna, Haven, Hacen, Kilinoe Silva, Dustin, William Rita, Emily, Lian Chism, Nevaeh Arruda-Kupu, Kainalu Kapu, Joseph, Alexis Almeida, Kasa Medina, Makaio Taboniar Silva.
Services to be held on March 26 at St. Raphael’s Catholic Church in Koloa. Visitation is 8:30 to 9:45am; services at 10 a.m.
Family requests casual attire.

Donald Kuebler
Donald Eugene Kuebler of Princeville died March 14, 2011, at home at age 75. Born in Council Bluffs, Iowa, on July 22, 1935, he was the owner of Spinning Dolphin Designs in Hanalei and was an artist and avid sailor.
He is survived by his wife, Melanie Kuebler of Princeville; daughters, Rebecca (Scott) Eitel of Chico, Calif., Stephanie Lee; son, Travis (Kerry) Wilker of Long Beach, Calif.; grandsons, Dayne Eitel, Randy Eitel, Kane Wilker; granddaughter, Joey Wilker; great-grandsons, Griffen Eitel, Mason Eitel; great-granddaughters, Claire Eitel, Madison Eitel.
A private service will be held at a later date.
Kaua‘i Memorial Gardens & Funeral Home assisted the Kuebler family with arrangements.
Mabel Senda
Mabel Morita Senda of Lihu‘e died March 10, 2011, at Regency at Puakea at age 81. Born June 29, 1929, in Lihu‘e, she was retired.
She was preceded in death by husband George H. Senda; parents Hajime and Yei Morita; brothers Mitsuo (Lillian) Morita of Lihu‘e and Haruo Morita; sister Ruth Morita.
She is survived by son Dean (Shirley) Senda of Honolulu; daughter Joan H.S. Fujimura of Lihu‘e; three grandchildren; one great-grandchild; brothers Kaoru (Phyllis) Morita of Honolulu, William (Sanae) Morita of Lihu‘e; sister-in-law Daisy Morita of Gardena, Calif.; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Friends may visit with the family at 3 p.m., Saturday, March 26, at Lihu‘e Christian Church; service at 4 p.m.
Casual attire is suggested and flowers omitted.
