Three days of championship boxing will take place at the Kaua‘i War Memorial Convention hall starting March 25 at 6 p.m.
The Kaua‘i Police Activities League is hosting the first Prince Kuhio/PAL Hawai‘i State Amateur Boxing Championships with bouts taking place March 25-27.
Doors to the March 25 date open at 5 p.m. with the first event starting at 6 p.m. On March 26-27, doors open at 11 a.m. with the matches scheduled to begin at noon.
Pre-sale tickets of $5 are available at Scrapa Lifestylez in Hanama‘ulu, the KPAL Boxing Gym and Richie’s in Lihu‘e, Dynamic Tinting in Puhi, Kujo’s Mini Mart in Kalaheo, Sweet and Sassy in ‘Ele‘ele, the KPAL Boxing Gym and Wong’s Chinese Restaurant in Hanapepe, and Aloha Rainbow Screening in Waimea.
Tickets will also be available at the door for $8.
This event is being sponsored in part by the County of Kaua‘i and the Hawai‘i Tourism Authority.
KPAL is a non-profit organization which has enriched the lives of thousands of youngsters over the years with a variety of activities and programs. KPAL offers an array of activities for young people between the ages of five through 18.
