Felicidad Robles
Felicidad R. Robles of Lihu‘e, Kaua‘i, died Feb. 6, 2011, at Wilcox Memorial Hospital at age 76. Born on April 4, 1934, in the Philippines, she was a homemaker.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Imperial Acosta Robles; parents, Candido and Mercedes Ramos; brothers, Alfred Ramos, Terio Ramos; sisters, Rosalinda Asuncion, Magdalena Mangrubang, Virginia Yaba and Elena Yabes.
She is survived by her sons, William (Florida) Robles Sr. of Mililani, Edwin (Norafe) Robles Sr. of Escondido, Calif.; daughter, Evelyn (Rudy) Julian Sr. of Lihu‘e; sisters, Linda Madanay, Amelita Alas and Glory Malagamba, all of Philippines; 10 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews and sisters-in-law.
Friends may visit with the family on Friday, March 4, at Borthwick Mortuary Chapel, in Koloa from 6 to 9 p.m., and again on Saturday, March 5, at Immaculate Conception Church from 8 to 9:45 a.m., where Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Burial to follow at Kaua‘i Memorial Gardens.

Yasuo Moribe
Yasuo Moribe of Kapa‘a died on Feb. 23, 2011, at Wilcox Memorial Hospital at age 97. Born on Nov. 7, 1913, in Makaweli, he was a road maintenance man with the County of Kaua‘i and a farmer. He is the world record holder of a 118-pound ulua, 40-pound test line.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Momoyo Moribe; and daughter, Amy Nakamura.
He is survived by his daughter, Barbara (Herbert) Nishida; son-in-law, David Nakamura; five grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren
A memorial service will be on Sunday, March 6, at Kapa‘a Jodo Mission, with visitation at 10 a.m. and service at 11 a.m.
The family gratefully declines flowers. Casual attire.

Charlotte Ayudan
Charlotte Leilani (Medeiros) Ayudan died Dec. 4, 2010, at her home in Kalaheo at age 86. Born in Honolulu, Hawai‘i, on July 10, 1924, she retired from Kaua‘i Economic Opportunities as a service aide and was a dedicated volunteer for the KEO Elderly Nutrition Program for many years.
She was preceded in death by husband Marcos Bueno Ayudan; daughter Melinda Marie Balocan; mother Helen Evalani (Miner/Clark) Medeiros; father John Barney Medeiros; sister Lavern (Medeiros) Nunies; brother, George Bully Miner Medeiros; grandmothers Annie Kaleikaulana (Lake) Clark, Jessie (Duarte) Medeiros; grandfathers George Miner, John Corria Medeiros; step-grandfather John Clark; great-grandfather Kalamanai Kaihe; great-grandmother Lilian Kuaio (Lake) Kaihe; nephew Herman Nunies, son-in-law Melvin Corpuz Sr.; and niece Amanda Laulusa.
She is survived by sons Wayne Buddie (Gail) Ayudan of Kekaha and Marcus Butchie (Darlene) Ayudan of West Jordan, Utah; daughters Yvonne (Clyde) Hussey of Honolulu, LaVerne Corpuz of ‘Ele‘ele and Tisha (Richy) Balocan Ayudan of Kalaheo; caregiver and friend Estralita “Estrel” Fernandez; grandchildren David Yokoi, Richelle Nagatani, Buddy Ayudan, Kimberly Frasco, Chelsie Ruiz, Leimomi Tamayo, Melvin Corpuz Jr., Lance Corpuz, Kelley Medina, Marcus Ayudan III, Natasha Ayudan, Christopher Ayudan, Wade Hussey, Kaulana Hussey, Matthew Hussey, Jon Hussey and Makoa Robeson; 23 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; aunts; uncles; cousins; nieces; nephews and extended family.
There will be a celebration of her life at Holy Cross Church, Kalaheo, on Saturday, March 5. Visitation will be from 8 to 10 a.m., with Mass to follow at 10:30 a.m.
Burial to follow at St. Raphael’s Cemetery, Koloa Road. Flowers are welcome.
Clarke Hadama
Clarke Katsumi Hadama of Koloa died at Tripler Army Medical Hospital on Feb. 22, 2011, at age 73. Born on Kaua‘i on Oct. 20, 1937, he retired as a welder with Lihu‘e Sugar Plantation.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Harry Hadama.
He is survived by his wife, Cecilia Hadama of Koloa; sons, Gerry Hadama of Florida and Nathan Hadama of Germany; sister, Jane Hadama of Lihu‘e; and sister-in-law, Satomi Hadama of Po‘ipu.
A celebration of his life will be held on Saturday, March 5, at Kaua‘i Veterans Cemetery Pavillion in Hanapepe with visitation at 10 a.m. and services celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Inurnment to follow.

Benigno Rivera
Benigno A. Rivera of Kilauea, Kaua‘i, died Feb. 28, 2011, at Wilcox Memorial Hospital at age 73. Born on Feb. 13, 1938, in Kaumakani, Kaua‘i, he was a heavy equipment operator.
He is survived by his wife, Yolanda Rivera; sons, Ben (Iris) Rivera, Demetri (Christine) Rivera, Billy Joe Rivera; daughter, Giselle “Gigi” Miller; brothers, Paul (Kookie) Rivera, Alberto Rivera, Gumby Latigg; sister, Gloria Lattig; three grandchildren; numerous aunties, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins.
Celebration of life on Saturday, March 5, at the St. Sylvesters Catholic Church, Kilauea. Visitation at 8:30 a.m. Mass to be celebrated at 10 a.m.
