Actually, the West Kaua‘i Methodist Church ladies will probably be at the Waimea Town Celebration for their unique offerings as well. So, who has Malasada Tuesday events going?
Hats off to Kaua‘i softball players Shana Tafiti (grandma Paulette Grace was working through the bomb threat, Tuesday) and Jessica Iwata (she went to check out Lanan Kashima-Rice’s collegiate debut) on their conference honors for the week.
Kudos to Michael Koerte and all the Waimea softball organizers on a great invitational at Hanapepe Stadium. Waimea coach Teddy Perreira was at Kalaheo Neighborhood Center Wednesday night checking on the Kaiser Cougars who was housed there (how was the thunder and lightning, people?), and Pat Baniaga and Albert Soto had to trade in the poinciana tree for the tent city for this tournament.
Mahalo to Manny Henriques for all the great HHSAA soccer photos!
