WAILUA — One lane of traffic, possibly two, will be closed on Kuhio Highway near the Kuamo‘o Road intersection in Wailua for night work from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. from Tuesday through early Friday morning, a news release states.
WAILUA — One lane of traffic, possibly two, will be closed on Kuhio Highway near the Kuamo‘o Road intersection in Wailua for night work from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. from Tuesday through early Friday morning, a news release states.
Crews will be preparing the area for new traffic signals to be installed at that intersection, the release states.
Traffic patterns will be similar to the way they have been during the past two weeks of night work.
Additionally, traffic may be stopped occasionally during the day while heavy equipment is moved across the highway. Motorists are advised to watch traffic controllers and to allow for extra travel time.
Construction crews extend their sincere mahalos to the public for patience and understanding, the release states.
