Bev Brody, Laurie Goodwin, Larry Dill, and Mary Williamson (don’t forget the first Kaua‘i Relay for Life, April 30) all have their roots in Canada. Bev said she does Canada Day breakfast after morning workout. Stay tuned to find out what that is. How many more Maple Leafers are here?
Bev and Larry were at the groundbreaking for the Koloa Pedestrian Safety Improvements, and Jenn Litton-Bloom is getting ready to leave for O‘ahu with the Kapa‘a boys basketball team. She said Sam Henriques is going with the soccer team next week.
Coach Philip Baclayon was checking out “the farm,” Monday night at the Kilauea Neighborhood Center where Hanakila had a strong home fan base when they played Ho‘ouila, and now, Coach Antonio Pope knows where the Kilauea Neighborhood Center is.
