The Kaua‘i High School girls soccer team earned the No. 3 seed for the JN Automotive Group Girls Soccer State Championships — Division II, hosted by the Hawai‘i High School Athletic Association at the Waipio Peninsula Soccer Complex on O‘ahu.
The Kaua‘i High School girls soccer team earned the No. 3 seed for the JN Automotive Group Girls Soccer State Championships — Division II, hosted by the Hawai‘i High School Athletic Association at the Waipio Peninsula Soccer Complex on O‘ahu.
With its third seed, Kaua‘i’s Red Raider wahine open play Thursday
at 3 p.m. against the winner of Wednesday’s Honoka‘a/Radford matchup.
Hawai‘i Preparatory Academy earned top seed in Division II followed by Leilehua getting the No. 2 seed and Seabury Hall rounding out the leaders at No. 4.
Punahou is the top seed for Division I followed by Mililani as the second seed.
Baldwin and Hilo round out Division I leaders at seeds 3 and 4, respectively.
Team participating in Division II in addition to the top four seeds include Waipahu, Makua Lani, Mid Pacific Institute, Kalaheo, St. Anthony and Kamehameha Schools-Hawai‘i.
Division I schools, in addition to the top four seeds, include Kamehameha Schools-Maui, Kaiser, Moanalua, Kahuku, Kealakehe, Pearl City, Iolani and Kapolei.
Championship games for the state girls soccer will be played Saturday at 5 p.m. for the Division II and 7 p.m. for the Division I.
