People are still talking about that great girls’ basketball championship game Monday! Calvin Paleka said he left early, but regretted it when he heard it on the radio. Sean Andrade said he was on the radio from practice and Trinette Kaui said she was a wreck by the time the game ended. Bobby Kamakele said he knew it was going to be a good game so made the trip all the way from the Westside, and Dennis Aquino said he knew from the start it was going to go to the wire. Hats off to both teams on a great game, and best of luck to Kapa‘a at the state tournament next week!
Sherri Patrick (what is the secret to all that energy?) said people can come check out their Leadership Kaua‘i salads at the Wellness Expo food booth this weekend.
OK, time to go see if Jean Souza is out with the Ocean Count people.
Golfers in the Hawai‘i Hotel and Lodging Association tournament (it’s sold out, according to Jolene Ogle), don’t forget to set your alarms — the tournament is at the Po‘ipu Bay Golf Course.
