Briggs Agu, whose sister is a strong No. 3 for the Kaua‘i High School girls program, finished with a game-high 22 points to lead Westside Basketball to a 57-51 edge over the Flyin’ Hawaiians, coached by former Kapa‘a High School basketball standout Kekoa Colipano.

Bree Ann Cayaban and Schae-Marie Tavita topped the Kaulupono balanced scoring effort with five points apiece followed by Melia Okura adding four points.
The county’s 13 and Under girls next play Wednesday at the Kalaheo Neighborhood Center when Team Lihu‘e tips off against the Kaua‘i Ballers at 6 p.m. Westside Basketball Girls go up against the Kamikaze starting at 7 p.m.
The Boys 13 Under league continues Thursday at the Kalaheo Neighborhood Center with three games starting with the West Kaua‘i Hornets taking on the Flyin’ Hawaiians at 6 p.m. followed by Westside Basketball going up against Hanakila at 7 p.m. Team Central 2 wraps up the night against Papalina-Blue starting at 8 p.m.
