OK, with the Martin Luther King holiday, things are shaping up to be busy since Josh Quinlan is scheduled to pour concrete for the flagpole he’s installing at the Hanapepe Fire Station as part of his Eagle Scout project.
Mahalo to Ed Justus for sending some photos of the dig for the footings.
Mahalo to Monroe Richman for acknowledging the hard work of the MLK Kaua‘i Interfaith Roundtable in getting all the activities lined up, and Ian Ross (he’ll be doing SLAM poetry) was with Nicole Deyerl of the Young Democrats when Janice Bond hosted Jadine Nielsen, Saturday, at Tiano’s restaurant (check out their kitchen manager).
Angello Catiggay (Thomas Noyes said he has a tricked-out bike!) was at the PIHI Tour 145, but again, no Kenny Ishii (actually, he called while Tecsily Maguire was speaking to the Kapa‘a Middle School AVID kids). He probably showed up for lunch, though.
OK, go check out the MLK festivities at Kukui Grove Center! It’s a holiday today — stay safe!
