KOLOA — Debbie Lindsey, principal of Koloa School, will join some of the school’s staff and volunteer parents at the counter of the McDonald’s restaurant in the ‘Ele‘ele Shopping Center, Jan. 29, from 5 to 8 p.m.
That McDonald’s Teacher Night launches a series of three fundraisers to help Koloa School fourth-grade students with their planned cultural and educational field trip to the Big Island, said Monica Buhk, Parent Involver for Koloa School, in an e-mail.
Pre-sale tickets for a kaluha pig and rummage sale at the Koloa School are also available for $10, Buhk said.
Pick-up for the kalua pig is on Feb. 5 from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. and patrons are invited to stop and browse through the rummage sale which will be taking place at the same time.
Following the kalua pig sale, the fourth-grade class will be hosting a state-wide Pizza Hut Fundraiser where diners will need a coupon containing information on how Koloa School will be credited during the Feb. 15 promotion.
