Beautiful people from around the island and around the world came to bask in the colored lights and holiday decor at Nanea’s ‘Heaven in 2011’ New Year’s Eve celebration. Located at the Westin Princeville Ocean Resort, Nanea restaurant offered a lavish dinner followed by one of the best holiday parties on Kaua‘i. When the tables were cleared away, the restaurant was transformed into a dimmed loungy club scene complete with music, dancing, drinks and plenty New Year’s hats and party horns to go around.
DJ Eric King was there from L.A., spinning hypnotic beats that kept the crowd moving and grooving as 2010 was bid adieu. The atmosphere was joyous and festive as the dance floor filled up and drinks were enjoyed. The hard-working bartenders didn’t rest the whole night as the crowd steadily grew around them.
There were hugs, kisses and the clanking (and breaking) of Champagne glasses all around as the countdown to the new year commenced. Then DJ Eric cranked up the beats and the celebration went on into the wee hours of the first morning of the brand-new year. Aloha to all and best wishes for the year ahead, may it be a great one!
