World renowned Grandmaster Hong invites all to participate in the seventh annual free Uplifting the Immune System Event on Saturday from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the Qi Center in Lihu‘e.
Those who would like to enhance their immune system for asthma, allergies, colds, flu, sinus, vog relief and more will experience a natural health care system and learn about natural foods, recipes, herb patches and easy exercises.
Historically in China, for thousand of years people would walk for miles and line up with ox carts for this special day. This special method is simple, economical and has a long historical track record of being highly effective.
Grandmaster Hong says, “The principles and methods are simple to apply, but don’t underestimate their power!”
There are only a few specially chosen days in the entire calendar year when this healing method may be used. Its timing has to be synchronized with specific natural rhythms of the universe, earth, human, organ, and herbs.
Michael, a musician from Kapa‘a with a history of asthma, at the last summer event showed the lung function of an 89-year-old before wearing an herbal patch. Just 24 hours after wearing the patch, his spirometer breathing reading improved to a 53-year-old.
Grandmaster Hong has reached the highest attainable level in Qi Gong, and has over 42 years of experience in numerous systems, including healing, intelligence, self-healing, martial arts, herbology, spiritual practices, feng shui, and special abilities. Trained in China as a physician in Western medicine, his background includes researching, independently and in affiliation with National Institute of Health, as well as National Cancer Institute, and teaching and publishing. The Hawai‘i State Legislature has proclaimed him a “Living Treasure.”
The nonprofit Qi Center welcomes all to attend this annual event, which is cosponsored by the University of Hawai‘i, and there is no charge to attend. As part of the organization’s mission to provide complementary and integrative approaches for health, it is hoped that this event will make a contribution to the health of Hawaii’s people.
