NAWILIWILI — After a long wait, community members on Wednesday were supposed to be able to watch the live online streaming of the Kaua‘i County Council meeting.
But officials confirmed that there were some technical difficulties with the launch of the new service that impacted the ability of some residents to view the morning session online.
By press time Wednesday, the county website was still unable to broadcast the archived meeting. When attempting to play a clip from the meeting, a “Please try again later… the requested video is still processing” message appeared.
“The administration is having technical problems,” Council Chair Jay Furfaro said.
He said the county was aware of the problems and technicians were trying to make appropriate changes. He said he hoped that the technical problems would be resolved later Wednesday evening.
