The Orange Grove has been opened for only six months, but has already built a steady string of fans who can’t shake off the urge to have a delicious and healthy treat every time they visit the mall.
The frozen-yogurt store, located by the center stage at Kuku‘i Grove Center, carries 14 flavors of frozen yogurt every day. The flavors can be paired up and swirled with each other, so customers can make their own creation.
Every other week the flavors are shuffled around. New flavors may debut, and old flavors may return. Customers get to write down what they want, and in two weeks they may get what they wish for.
The carnival of flavors continues with over 40 toppings to choose from, including fresh fruits, candy bars and delicious little strange bubbles filled with juice, which pop in your mouth.
Customers get to build their own creations, and all servings are weighed at the register. At 52 cents per ounce, you might become an addict. But it’s a healthy addiction, since the frozen yogurt is made with 100-percent natural ingredients.
Co-owner Patty Stanfield said it makes her day to see the children come in happy and excited.
