Canned goods, or dry bagged food are the admission to the Holiday Charity Poker Run scheduled for Dec. 12 in Oma‘o, said organizers.
In preparation for this event, which will benefit the Kaua‘i Independent Food Bank, the Oma‘o area is currently off limits to all competitors until Dec. 12.
Admission to the event is food donation, with a suggestion of two or more cans, or dry bagged goods, per rider.
GIMC, KMXA, and KMRA will be hosting the Charity Poker Run event to benefit the people of Kaua‘i in need of food this holiday season.
Additional food donations will be accepted at Garden Island Motorsports, Motorcycles Period, Kaua‘i Suzuki, Kaua‘i Harley Davidson, and Kaua‘i Cycle and Tour.
The event will feature free food and drinks for all riders with performances by Io and Solidarity with a special guest star.
A mountain bike class will be available, and those riders are invited to call 821-2115 for more information.
Poker run divisions include Experts, Intermediate, Beginner, Novice, and Quads with registration starting at 7 a.m. and the run starting at 10 a.m. Gates will open at 6 a.m.
A riders get two gas checks while B and C riders have one gas check for the event.
