Patrick Nagao
Patrick Nagao of Wailua died at home on Oct. 25, 2010 at the age of 67. He was born in Kealia on May 26, 1943, retired from the Carpenters Union and was an avid fisherman.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Ronald Nagao, and parents, Hideo and Lillian Nagao.
He is survived by two sons: Rodney (Rhonda) Nagao of Honolulu and Eric Nagao of Wailua; daughter Patricia (Andy) Chong of Wailua; six grandchildren: Lauren Nagao, Haley Nagao, Aron Nagao, Brandon Chong, Davin Chong and Kimi Chong; three brothers: Stanley (Shirley) Nagao, Allan Nagao and Brian (Laura) Nagao; aunts, nieces, nephews and cousins.
A celebration of his life will be held on Sunday, Dec. 5, 2010 at Niumalu Beach Park at 1 p.m., with a luncheon to follow.
Kaua‘i Memorial Gardens & Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
Kikue Agena
Kikue Agena of Kapa‘a died Nov. 9, 2010 at the age of 83 at her residence. Born Oct. 15, 1928 in Hanama‘ulu, she was a homemaker.
She was preceded in death by sisters Matsuko Cadawas and Ann Yasutake, and brothers Toshio Akiyama and Minato Akiyama.
She is survived by daughters Bonny Agena and Pamela Agena; sister Nancy Westlake of Honolulu; numerous nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be on Nov. 27, 2010 at Kapa‘a Missionary Church, with visitation at 9 a.m. and service at 10 a.m.
The family suggests casual attire and asks that no flowers be brought.

Noburo Agena
Noburo Agena of Kapa‘a died at Wilcox Memorial Hospital on Nov. 11, 2010 at the age of 88. Born on Nov. 12, 1921 in Kapa‘a, he was employed with Lihu‘e Plantation Company.
He was preceded in death by wife Kikue Agena, sister Janet Miyake and brothers Suichi Agena and Shiro Agena.
He is survived by daughters Bonny Agena and Pamela Agena; sister Sue Leong of Waipahu; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
A celebration of life will be on Nov. 27, 2010 at Kapa‘a Missionary Church, with visitation at 9 a.m. and service at 10 a.m.
