LIHU‘E — A memorial concert for Prestron Lee Makana Ramson will be held this Saturday from 2 to 7 p.m. at Kalapaki Beach, said Gina Ramson, Preston’s mom.
There will be no ticket sales, but donations will be gratefully accepted at the non-alcoholic event to remember Preston, who died following a one-car traffic accident in ‘Oma‘o, Oct. 28, 2009.
Landlocked, a group from Montana, will be joined by Reaction, Natural Progression, Top Notch, Morning Wood and Ponobreeze featuring Frank Cruz at the Makana Mau Loa memorial concert.
Gina is hoping that any proceeds from this event can go toward the establishment of an athletic scholarship in Preston’s memory.
