Happy birthday, Luke Roberts! Luke’s special day was Saturday and he spent it trying to improve his time standards at the Mokihana Aquatics timed trials. Mom Denise said earlier in the day he was a guest disc jockey for Ron Wiley (congratulations on the media award!) on KQNG radio.
Kudos to Phyllis Kunimura (she had copies of her new book on hand) and the KIDS School staff on a great festival! Karin Panui said Edwin Vea was handling the Kaua‘i Veterans Memorial Hospital fair so she could do the KIDS event. But Edwin will be with her Nov. 27 at the Wilcox School event, and Karin said don’t miss it!
Laura Cristobal had to divide herself into three because she had to do the KCC Market, the Chiefess Kamakahelei fair, and the KIDS fair. She said it’s going to be crazy like this until Christmas.
Jasmine and Kamuela Ferris are turning beach glass into some unique jewelry. They debuted their offerings at the KIDS fair and will probably be at a number of other fairs before Christmas.
Hans Hellriegel and Karen were enjoying lunch at the KIDS event after spending time watching the Veterans Day Parade.
