What are we going to do when the eggplants run out? Marg Alfiler brought her Tangi uke and serenaded customers at the Kaua‘i Community Market as her neighbor and friend Adele Rosa sold Marg’s eggplants.
Larry Feinstein was filling in for Melissa McFerrin, and Helen Cox was busy helping Mia Ako and Maty Yoshioka at the HoloHolo Science Day down the street.
The event was so good even Daniel Momohara, Ed Nakaya and Juan Lorenzo were having fun, Juan bringing his grandkids to check out the exhibits centering around global warming.
Hats off to Beth Tokioka and her crew on a great Kaua‘i Made trade show, Monday. Marty Amaro was offering coffee and even had bags of the new Kaua‘i Coffee blend, just in time for the holidays.
If you’re out west, check out those fields — the cherries are overflowing the trees, so it should be a bumper year for coffee!
