Isao “Wimpy” Nitta of Kekaha died Oct. 12, 2010, at his home at age 92. Born Nov. 6, 1917, in Kekaha, he was an electrician with Kekaha Sugar Company.
He is survived by his wife, Nobuko Nitta; sons, Ivan (Grace) Nitta of Wailua, Jeffrey (Sue) Nitta of Honolulu and Val Nitta of Kekaha; daughter, Melissa (Dennis) Burns of Kekaha; three grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; sister, Yoshimi Kawahara of Honolulu; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Services were held. Family request that no koden be sent.
Arrangements are being handled by Garden Island Mortuary, Ltd.
