Vicente Curammeng Lagoc of Kaumakani died Sept. 26, 2010 at Kaua‘i Veterans Memorial Hospital at the age of 84. Born on April 26, 1926 in Pasuquin, Ilocos Norte, Philippines, he was a WWII Army veteran and a research worker at Pioneer Hi-Bred.
He was preceded in death by parents Mariano and Victoria C. Lagoc, brothers Inocencio (Nieves) Lagoc, Juan (Mercedes) Lagoc and Victoriano (Cristina) Lagoc; and sisters Enriqueta (Segundo) Corcoro, Leonarda (Ciano) Corcoro, Remedios (Irinio) Menor and Rosario (Bantor) Sacro.
He is survived by his wife Rosa Caldoza Lagoc; son Vicmar (Marites) Lagoc and Adonis (Shulamite) Lagoc; daughter Rowena Lagoc (Ferdinand) Antonio; three grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
Friends may visit with the family from 9 to 10 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 9, 2010 at Kauai Veterans Cemetery pavilion in Hanapepe, with service at 10 a.m. and burial to follow.
Arrangements are being handled by Garden Island Mortuary, Ltd.
