Steven Lee Thompson of Kilauea died July 13, 2010, at age 52. Born on July 27, 1957, in Norwich, Conn., he was employed by the Princeville Clubhouse.
He is survived by his son Steven (Tykey) Lee Thompson Jr. of Kilauea; mother Polly Thompson; father Bill (Alice) Thompson; brother Wayne (Shirley) Thompson of Connecticut; and brother Keith Thompson of Hollywood, Fla.
Celebration of life at 11 a.m., on Saturday, July 24, at Kalihiwai Beach.
Arrangements are being handled by Kaua‘i Memorial Gardens and Funeral Home.
Adelaide Flores
Adelaide “Aunty Addie” Flores died July 15, 2010, at Kuakini Medical Center at age 103. Born on Nov. 28, 1906, she was a school teacher on Kaua‘i and a procurement agent at Pearl Harbor during World War II.
She was preceded by her parents John and Georgia Souza; husband John Flores; brothers John Souza, Bill Souza and George Souza; sisters Angie Moore, Emily Fernandes and Minnie Victorino.
She is survived by her daughter Barbara Fernandez; three grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
Visitation at 9:30 a.m., Mass at 11 a.m., on July 23, at Saint Catherine’s Catholic Church in Kapa‘a. Graveside services will be held immediately after Mass, at Kealia cemetery.
Arrangements are being handled by Borthwick Mortuary.
Alfonso Bautista
Alfonso B. Bautista, 98, of Kilauea, Kaua‘i, died July 12, 2010, at his Kilauea home. Born on May 14, 1912, in the Philippines, he was a retired groundskeeper.
He is survived by his daughters Nelly Bautista, Noreen Bautista and Raina (Thomas) Bautista-Balai; numerous family members and friends.
Visitation from 9 to 10:45 a.m., memorial services at 11 a.m., on Friday, July 23, at St. Sylvester’s Church. Inurnment will follow at St. Catherine Church Cemetery.

Bebincia Mindoro
Bebincia R. Mindoro of Lihu‘e died July 6, 2010, at Garden Isle Health Care at age 86. Born on June 7, 1924, in Hawai‘i, she was a chamber maid in the hotel industry.
She is survived by her husband Ernest Mindoro Sr.; sons Ernest Mindoro Jr., Alan (Candida Vegas) Mindoro, Clifford (Leilani) Mindoro and Michael (Cindy) Mindoro; daughters Crystal (Joseph) Song, Lorilei Mindoro and Cecilia (Rudy) Verdugo; 19 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren.
Visitation at 8 a.m., Mass at 10 a.m., on Thursday, July 22 at Immaculate Conception Church.
