Mildred Yukiko Nishida of Kapa‘a died June 21, 2010, at Wilcox Memorial Hospital at age 73. Born on Dec. 19, 1936, in Kapa‘a, she was a housewife.
She was preceded in death by her parents Genkichi and Haruyo Wada; sister Bessie Oda; brothers Albert, James and Harold Wada; granddaughter Makanalani Nishida.
She is survived by her husband Lou Nishida Sr.; son Lou (Marciana) Nishida Jr.; daughter Millicent (Walter) Agena, all of Kapa‘a; granddaughters Marissa Agena, Mindi Agena and Marlou Nishida; sisters Bertha (Makoto) Kondo and Violet (Richard) Watanabe, both of Kapa‘a, sisters-in-law Trini and Emelda Wada and numerous nieces and nephews.
Services were private.
Arrangements are being handled by Garden Island Mortuary.
